Hello, my name is Daisy and I am a linguist with a background in theoretical linguistics and computer science. Professionally, I have experience working in human resources, consulting, technology, and marketing; but I am actively seeking to transition to a position within a company where I can apply my skills and experiences to support meaningful work that reflects my values and passions.

On this site, I share a variety of projects including my MA thesis on linguistic change and social meaning, a presentation on how food culture shaped my study of Yucatec Maya, and an important panel I had the privilege of leading regarding media representation of North Korea.
