Hello, my name is Daisy and I am a linguist with a background in theoretical linguistics and computer science. I enjoy working on projects focused on semantics, sociolinguistics, and human-computer interaction (HCI).
On this site, I share a variety of projects including my MA thesis on linguistic change and social meaning, a presentation on how food culture shaped my study of Yucatec Maya, and an important panel I had the privilege of leading regarding media representation of North Korea.
